A Note from Us
Roger and I would like to welcome you to Restore the Breach Ministries, a brand new church in Rodney Michigan. Having served in several churches, we have seen first-hand the many damaging hurts multiple church members, us included, have endured through spiritual, physical, and emotional abuse from bad leaders. That trauma has led many to walk away from faith damaged and bruised. We believe God has directed us to start this church to bring healing to those wounds and to repair broken faith. Our vision is to create a safe place where those who have endured these abuses (whether through church or life in general) can come and be healed from these wounds of the soul and have their faith rebuilt.
While we can’t promise you that pursuing this healing will come easy, quickly or even completely; we can promise you that we will strive to help you through the struggle by balanced teaching from the scriptures, prayer and discipleship. Our hope is to turn victims into survivors who cannot only walk in healing but also help others who have had similar experiences. We hope that you will join us at our worship service Sunday mornings starting July 12th, 2026 at 9:30 am. We can’t wait to meet you.
God Bless You,
Pastor Angela King
Statement of Beliefs
-
We believe the Bible is the inspired and inerrant Word of God composed and recorded by God’s chosen authors, and we accept its teaching as our infallible guide in all matters pertaining to conduct and doctrine (2 Timothy 3:16; 1 Thessalonians 2:13; 2 Peter 1:21).
-
We believe in a Triune God. That God exist in three distinct Persons- the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit; being coequal and who are the creator and source of all things, and who exist eternally without change (Deuteronomy 6:4; Philippians 2:6; Hebrews 13:8).
-
We believe that God revealed His love for us by sending His Son, Jesus Christ, who was born of the virgin Mary, crucified for our sins, died on the cross, was buried, rose on the third day, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father (John 3:16; Acts 2:32, 33).
-
We believe that mankind is created in the image of God, but through Adam’s transgression and fall, sin came into the world thereby separating mankind from a Holy God. Jesus Christ came to earth as a man to undo the works of the devil and gave His life and shed His blood to redeem and restore man back to God (Romans 3:10; 5:14; 1 John 3:8).
-
We believe that salvation is a gift of God to man, separate from works and the Law, and is made operative by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, producing works acceptable to God (Ephesians 2:8-10).
-
We believe that until a person responds to Gods call by committing their life to Jesus Christ, they are lost in their sin. We believe that the new birth is necessary for everyone and, when experienced, produces eternal life. And that eternal life comes only through Jesus Christ God’s only Son (John 3:3-5; 1 John 5:12; John 14:6; Acts 4:12).
-
We believe that the ordinance of water baptism is a symbol of the Christian’s new birth, wherein we identify with Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection and is a direct commandment of our Lord and is for believers only (Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:4; Colossians 2:12; Acts 8:36-39).
-
We believe in the Holy Spirit, who comforts, empowers, guides and gives gifts to all who believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God (Hebrews 2:3-4).
-
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit as a second act of grace. The baptism of the Holy Spirit and fire is a gift from God and is available to all believers who have subsequently been born-again (John 14:16,17; Acts 1:8).
-
We believe in the sanctifying work of the blood of Jesus. The Bible teaches that without holiness no man can see the Lord. We believe the doctrine of sanctification as a definite, yet progressive work of grace, commencing at the time of regeneration and continuing until the consummation of salvation at Christ’s return (Hebrews 12:14; 1 Thessalonians 5:23; 2 Peter 3:18; 2 Corinthians 3:18; Philippians 3:12-14; 1 Corinthians 1:30).
-
We believe in divine healing. Healing is for the physical ills of the human body and is wrought by the power of God through the prayer of faith and through the laying on of hands. It is provided for in the atonement of Christ, and is the privilege of every member of the church today (James 5:14,15; Mark 16:18; Isaiah 53:4,5; Matthew 8:17; 1 Peter 2:24).
-
We believe in the resurrection of the just and the return of our Lord Jesus Christ whereby He will judge the living and the dead (Acts 1:11; 1 Thessalonians 4:1-17).
-
We believe the term marriage is biblically defined as the exclusive union of one man and one woman.
Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
2 Corinthians 9:7
